what can lead to death
Shooter
Why does life occasionally treat people in a way that make them have so much pain that even death sounds like the only thing to get away. Some are bullied, some have a bad home life, some struggle to get by, some are addicted to drugs, and these entire things can drive an individual off the edge.
In the book shooter, Cameron porter is the best friend of the former Len. Cameron was integrated by the police; Cameron makes many points about why people would want to kill them self and/or others. Len was by no means popular and didn’t fit in to any social class; he didn’t have any friends (other than Cameron) or groups of people to hang out with. He started to rebel against rules of school and the law; he defaced a local nativity scene at the church, which Cameron was involved also. He constant acts of immaturity showed he had personal tribulations. When finding out that his actions didn’t help his emotional pain, Len turned to the last resort, death. Right now there are many thoughts like this, people when driven enough will go through and let the other side take over.
